Dave McCloskey, our founder and principal engineer, was recently featured on a panel discussion at the Berkshire Innovation Center’s Stage 2 Accelerator Catalyst Day Lunch & Learn. This panel discussion, titled “Aligning Manufacturing Strategy with Target Markets,” focused on strategies to align manufacturing methods based on target production volumes. Dave joined two other BIC members, Eric Planey from SolaBlock and David Allen from Sinicon Plastics Inc., on this panel to represent Alogus Innovation & Design as an engineering design firm. He shared insights on design for manufacturing, iterative design, and selection of the right manufacturer to scale from prototype to production.
